ULMA Inoxtruck holds a convention with its international distribution network in Germany.

While participating as an exhibitor in the three-yearly IFFA 2013 International Fair, aimed at the meat product processing and packaging industry, ILMA Inoxtruck held a meeting of its international sales network in Frankfurt.

The convention took place on the day before and the same day as the fair inauguration, the ideal moment to conduct sales training and to present this year’s new ULMA models.

Representatives from countries including Finland, Austria, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland, Spain and Chile exchanged experiences and shared their projects for coming years, as well as seeing at first hand ULMA Inoxtruck's quantitative and qualitative progress, its strategic projects and the competitive advantages of this year’s models.  The company presented the new light ergonomic MPT manual pallet trucks, the new manual pallet trucks including the 100% hygienic design weighing system and the new Eurobin turners, with a capacity of 300kg, which make it possible to handle and ergonomically turn a load thanks to their 130º inclination system. ULMA also presented the new projects set up over the last year, such as the new e-commerce site developed to provide better service to distributors and customers.

ULMA Inoxtruck managers also collected suggestions from international partners, whose years of experience in the distribution and sales of clean room equipment make these contributions extremely valuable. They will almost certainly help make improvements to ULMA models. The meeting participants thanked ULMA Inoxtruck representatives for their approachability and willingness to listen to requests and concerns and were positive about the quality of the company’s exhibits.

The convention’s guest of honour was Knuth Lorenzen, president of the European organisation EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group), composed of equipment manufacturers including ULMA Inoxtruck, companies from the food sector, research institutes and public health authorities.

The EHEDG association, founded in 1989 with the goal of promoting and establishing guidelines to guarantee hygiene during food processing and packaging, is a global leader in hygienic engineering and the design of equipment and facilities
. In its exhibition, Knuth Lorenzen acknowledged ULMA Inoxtruck’s work and encouraged the company to continue with its choice of designing 100% hygienic equipment offering an effective solution with a full guarantee for all companies with high hygiene demands, such as food and medical product handling, in their respective production centres.
